Investigating the Holocaust
Over the course of this unit of study, you will read and analyze a variety of information related to different aspects of the Holocaust and World War II in general. You will also be creating several projects including written work, remembrance boards, and 3D models. Please see the steps below for more information.
Choose Your Leader
After you have read the biographies of the three candidates listed, your class will hold a mock election to determine who you believe would be the strongest leader of your country.

This assignment will be given through Google Classroom. Use the sources provided to find the answers to the questions. Be sure to answer in complete sentences using your own words.
World War II Maps
Before you begin researching World War II more in depth, you will need to have an understanding of where the countries involved are located. Please see your teacher for a copy of the maps and instructions.
Digging In a Bit Deeper
For this project, you will work with a group to investigate a specific topic related to the Holocaust. As a part of this project, you will need to become an expert on your topic. You will be responsible for writing a summary, creating a 3-D model related to your topic, and giving a presentation to the class.
Walking In Another Teen's Shoes
After you have presented the information and 3D model surrounding your research topic, you will begin researching and creating a remembrance board telling about the life of a survivor who was a teenager during the Holocaust. You will need to explain how the events of World War II shaped their life, and how they were able to survive.
